At Gap Inc. we know that exploration is essential to defining your true self. Our internships are designed for college students who are filled-to-the-brim with opportunity and are looking to gain experience prior to graduation. We welcome interns of all levels – undergraduate, MBA, Masters and PhD students.
Gap Inc. interns join us for 9-10 weeks starting in June and ending in August across our portfolio of brands – Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta – for a career-defining experience. As an intern, you’ll learn the ins and outs of one of the largest specialty retailers in the world, get access to industry leaders and receive practical knowledge that contribute to the bottom line.
Life After Interning: Interns who meet the goals established by themselves and managers will receive a full-time employment offer to begin work upon completion of their degree. Open roles are primarily based in San Francisco with some opportunities in other offices across the country. Refer to each job posting for specific location information.

There are typically 2-3 rounds of virtual interviews:
First Round: Behavioral, traditionally 30-minute interview with a recruiter.
Second Round: Interview with hiring manager.
Third Round: Optional Executive Interview.
Note: there may be project based interviews depending on function. We will give you a prompt and applicants will have 7 days to complete project.

As a member of the design team, you'll draw on equal parts trend and inspiration to bring bold ideas to life, build collections that customers love and watch your work define fashion on millions of people around the world. The competitive program provides selected students with a unique learning experience by having interns work alongside experienced designers who share their knowledge and experience. Our design internship is reserved for rising seniors only.

Macro Trends in Retail Tech - Exploration of what the "next normal" will be for our customers and how the retail
