For the past 15 years, Gap Inc.’s Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement (P.A.C.E.) program has provided women in the global apparel industry the opportunity to thrive through foundational life skills, technical training and support to advance at work, in their lives, and in their communities.
This International Women’s Day, we’re proud to announce that more than 1 million women and girls have participated in the program across 17 countries where Gap Inc. clothes are made, giving women a voice and an opportunity to positively change the trajectory of their lives.
Our commitment to empowering women and girls through our P.A.C.E. program is equally as important as our commitment to creating partnerships that empower women and girls. So today, also in celebration of International Women’s Day, Athleta is thrilled to introduce its first limited-edition Athleta x Alicia Keys Offering, now available online and in stores.
Designed by women, for women, the Offering was co-created by Alicia and Athleta’s design team, with every piece designed to support women and give them the freedom to move, breathe, and feel powerful in their own bodies. In creating the Athleta x Alicia Keys Offering, nearly 50% of the styles—including the Keys Elation Bra and Keys Utility Jumpsuit—were created in factories supported by Gap Inc.’s P.A.C.E. program.
