Visionaire fashion and art magazine and Gap have teamed up once again to design an artsy new line of limited-edition sweaters and T-shirts, introducing screen prints.
If you happen to be in London over the next couple days (now until Oct. 18), Gap and Visionaire are showcasing the fourth and final line at the Frieze Art Fair. Or if you’re not London-bound, you can also check Visionaire’s website and select Gap stores next week to shop for the shirts.
(Here’s a little information for those who want to know more about Gap and Frieze.)
This latest collection takes its inspiration from past issues Visionaire. Pierre et Gilles’ Medusa and one of Massimo Vitali’s beach prints are some of the featured pieces. Other artists include Peter Saville, Ruben Toledo and Steven Klein.
"We have a long history of supporting the arts and wanted to create a truly unique experience, bringing contemporary art to everyone,” said Rebekka Bay, Gap’s creative director.
The last collection -- “The Gold Collection” -- featured foil-stamping and triple-gold ink printing techniques, along with art from past issues of Visionaire.
Tees are limited. The line is available at select Gap flagship stores.
