Learn how one woman found her strength through Gap Inc. P.A.C.E. — a program that provides life skills, education and technical training to more than 30,000 female garment workers.
Growing up, Emawati believed that women were weak and couldn’t speak up for themselves. As garment worker, she was able to join Gap Inc. P.A.C.E. (Personal Advancement & Career Enhancement).
The financial skills she’s learned from the program have helped her start a small business in her free time, selling Indonesian headscarves online.
She has come to learn that women are strong and capable of achieving their goals.
