What you wear can set the tone for who you are — and who wants to be just anybody?
Through her new collaboration with Gap, available in stores and online Aug. 18, Ellen DeGeneres is using her lifestyle brand to empower girls to embrace their individuality through their style.
GapKids x ED isn't just about the clothes; it's also a social movement designed to help all girls realize they have the power to do extraordinary things. Using the hashtag #heyworld, everyone can support the concept by sharing their own words of encouragement to kids. Celebs like Hilary Duff and Jaime King are already on board, posting their personal advice on social media.
The way DeGeneres sees it, the message aligns seamlessly with Gap.
"Gap has always encouraged people to be themselves, and I love that they have the same values that I have: to be true to who you are and to wear cute pants," DeGeneres said in Vogue last month.
