Why (RED) is the color of the season

A great denim jacket — or tee, or even a baby onesie — makes a fashion statement.

When it's really great, it makes a social statement, too. That's what the offerings in the newest Gap x (RED) collection, just in time for the 10-year anniversary of the campaign, stand to do.

The (RED) organization, founded in 2006, funnels philanthropic dollars and cultural awareness toward one key goal: the AIDS-free generation. Since its inception, the organization has raised more than $315 million to fund the fight against the global AIDS crisis.

As the effort approaches its 10-year anniversary in 2016, Gap has partnered once again on a PRODUCT (RED) collection, with a $1 million commitment to the Global Fund and another opportunity to wear your support proudly.

Offerings for women, men, girls and boys include a classic denim jacket with special Gap x (RED) design, as well as T-shirts featuring an INC(RED)IBLE graphic. Even the tiniest family members can join the effort by wearing an INC(RED)IBLE onesie.

The products are available on in the U.S., as well as at the 54th St. and 5th Ave. store in New York City. Internationally, the products will be available on in all markets where Gilt currently ships.
