Babies, tykes and children alike: It's time to channel that inner (or not so inner) star for the 2016 Gap Casting Call.
The brand is bringing back the wildly popular contest, designed to showcase kids being kids — cute, optimistic and ready to take on the world. Winners are featured in an upcoming GapKids or baby Gap marketing campaign.
This year's Casting Call celebrates each child's individuality by giving voice to his or her aspirations and showcasing unique personalities — exploring what these kids love to do and who they were born to be.
Parents are challenged with the difficult, but fun task of choosing the cutest photo of their child, then going online and getting creative with the submission process. Via a dedicated Casting Call microsite, they are then encouraged to customize their child's photo with borders and emoji, creating a doodle that illustrates the phrase “Born _____." Parents fill in the blank with whatever they think best fits their kids' personality. After all that effort, it would be a shame not to share it with the world, with the hashtag #gapcastingcall.
Sixteen lucky kids and babies will be the winners, featured in a GapKids and babyGap marketing campaign in their global region this August 2016.
