Banana Republic's Holiday 2015 collection spins a great yarn, taking us on a journey from the misty Scottish Highlands to rugged Iceland to the cozy ski lodge.
Maintaining a strong focus on the outdoors, you'll find tailored coats, plaids and colorful Harris Tweeds for women, and chunky knits, flannel shirts, and faux-fur collars for men.
"It’s about focusing on Banana Republic’s heritage, getting back under it and building the fashion around it,” said Marissa Webb, BR's creative director, at the company's holiday preview. “We’re really looking at quality, fits and color."
Added Michael Anderson, the brand's senior vice president of design:
"We should never be too far away from being a utility brand, but we’ve tried to shift the focus to become more of a lifestyle brand."
